10am MORNING SERVICE: Festival Eucharist, followed by drinks under the tower
6pm EVENING SERVICE: Festal Evensong, followed by barbeque to mark start of the choir’s summer break
This Sunday (22nd July) marks the Patronal Festival of the Parish Church of Louth St James. This is a day (the Sunday nearest to 25th July, which is St James’s Day) when we give thanks for the life and work of the church – and especially for the life that flows from St James. Everyone is welcome to join us as we give thanks.
The main service will take place at 10am, and will be followed by drinks under the tower.
This is also the last Sunday that the choir will be singing before their summer break and to mark this there will be a barbeque to thank them for their contribution to our life at the 6pm service of Festal Evensong.
There will also be an Open Day display in the church, with information about all the events and activities that are associated with the church.
